Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Browsers send it back on later visits, which is how sites remember things like a language choice or a cart. The same mechanism has a darker use: tracking identifiers that follow a person across websites.
2. What this site actually uses
Nothing is set except one strictly necessary value, kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie file:
- lh_consent — essential — remembers whether you accepted or declined the banner, so you are not asked again — kept until you clear site data.
- lh_lang — essential — remembers the language you chose — kept until you clear site data.
3. What this site does not use
No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No social-media pixels. No cross-site tracking identifiers. No fingerprinting. No data broker of any kind. No third-party script that would set a cookie of its own.
4. Third-party services
Some links lead to applications hosted by other companies. Those applications may set their own cookies and use their own tracking — that is entirely outside my control and outside this policy. Read their own cookie notices before you use them.
5. How to control it
Your browser can block or delete cookies and local storage at any time, and you can clear site data for this domain from its settings. Doing so will not break the site; it will simply make the banner reappear and forget your language choice.
6. Consent
The banner at the bottom of the page asks you to choose. Accepting, declining or ignoring it makes no practical difference, because there is nothing to refuse — the same single essential value is stored either way. It is offered for transparency, not as a dark pattern.
7. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the update appears on this page. Questions can be sent to nvapps@proton.me.
